K Tuesday Evening 2020 2h Weather Forecast


🌈 From the KIMBA Weather Center, this is your Weather outlook for the next week:

Tonight: Rain and snow, possibly mixed with freezing drizzle before 3am, then snow likely, possibly mixed with freezing drizzle between 3am and 4am, then snow likely after 4am. Patchy fog after 8pm. Low around 26. Blustery, with a north northeast wind 15 to 20 mph decreasing to 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Wednesday: A chance of snow and freezing drizzle before 2pm, then a slight chance of rain and snow between 2pm and 4pm, then a slight chance of rain after 4pm. Patchy fog before 7am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 40. South southeast wind around 5 mph becoming north northeast in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Wednesday Night: A 20 percent chance of rain before 7pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. South wind around 5 mph.

Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 54. South wind 5 to 15 mph.

Thursday Night: A 30 percent chance of rain, mainly after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37.

Friday: A chance of rain before 7am, then a slight chance of rain after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 69. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Friday Night: A slight chance of rain before 7pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 43.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 74.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 43.

Next Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 79.

Next Sunday Night: Clear, with a low around 46.

Next Monday: Sunny, with a high near 83.

Next Monday Night: Clear, with a low around 48.

And Next Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 86.

Bands of snow will lift north out of Colorado tonight resulting in periods of light to moderate snowfall and slick roads, mainly along the east of the Laramie Range. Periods of freezing drizzle are expected as well with areas of fog. Winter Weather Advisories and Winter Storm Warnings remain in effect until early Wednesday morning. Periods of snow may persist into early Wednesday morning. Otherwise, a slow warming trend is expected through the end of the week.

PERIODS OF MIXED WINTRY PRECIPITATION EXPECTED ACROSS MUCH OF
THE AREA THROUGH EARLY WEDNESDAY.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM MDT
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Periods of mixed precipitation. Additional snow
  accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and ice accumulations of a light
  glaze.

* WHERE...In Wyoming, eastern Laramie County including Pine
  Bluffs. In Nebraska, Kimball, Banner, Scotts Bluff, Box Butte
  and Dawes counties including Kimball, Scottsbluff, Alliance
  and Chadron.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM MDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous travel possible due to icy roadways and
  low visibilities in falling and blowing snow. The worst
  conditions will occur during the morning commute on Tuesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.
