WEATHER ALERT: A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 9AM tomorrow Wednesday morning.

Kimball Public Schools Spring Choir Concert 2026

Kimball City Council Agenda Regular Meeting on Tuesday Evening, May 5th, 2026

The City of Kimball Council meeting focused on several key agenda items including zoning ordinance changes and a community garden project. The council approved Ordinance 847 to add MIL (Military facilities and military support facilities) zoning district and Ordinance 851 to rezone property at 303 East 3rd Street from residential to general commercial. A significant portion of the meeting addressed the establishment of the Kimball Victory Garden, where the council ultimately approved locating it at the Evergreen and 8th Street property with the city providing water installation. The council also discussed a chip seal street maintenance project, though they tabled the decision to the next meeting due to budget considerations. Administrative updates included progress on updating municipal codes, installing new park fountain and scoreboard, and plans for pool opening, with the next council meeting scheduled for May 19th.
