The Library is hiring. Library position: Part time Technical Services/Library Clerk performs a variety of tasks for customer service, computers, and cataloging.

We all here in Kimball had very nice sunny weather last weekend, but not for western Wyoming west of Laramie. Their inclement weather conditions led to a pile of truckers from several nearby towns in Wyoming.

There was a Wrestling match that took place last Saturday in Chase County.

Potter-Dix Schools were canceled today, Friday, January 24th due to high levels of illness in the schools, the district announced on its website and social media accounts.

Hometown Floral and Gifts, at 212 South Chestnut Street in downtown Kimball, will be shutting down next week on Thursday so next week will be their last week of business.

New Hours at Subway: They are now open at 10am. 8 under $3. You can make your subs to go, dine in or go through their drive through window! So stop by Subway. Conveniently located one block East of the stoplights in downtown Kimball!

The KIMBALL YOUTH BASKETBALL PROGRAM is still looking for 3 or 4 Volunteers that may be able to REFEREE a few games this SATURDAY, January 25th in the afternoon here in Kimball for our AREA YOUTH GRADES 3rd through 6th.

Building Construction and remodeling began last weekend at the Kimball Bakery and Merrycakes at 124 South Chestnut Street in downtown Kimball!!!

Stacey Bolin is hosting another painting class tomorrow afternoon at the Kimball County Visitor Center from 1pm to 3pm.

The Trinity United Methodist Church, at 305 East 4th Street, is one of 3 churches in the Nebraska Panhandle that participated in Operation Christmas Child in 2019 and sending more than 10 million gifts worldwide.

There was no outcome from the city council meeting that was held earlier this week. According to Matt Bright, City Council, The Kimball City council had a meeting but there was no outcome. They just decided to see if anyone in the private sector would like to move the fitness center and run it. They are just taking proposals on the matter.
