Sleigh Ride by the Ventures -- from their Christmas Joy album. This is primarily (for us) a test video of our Christmas lights using our brand new camera -- a Sony Handycam HDR-CX110. Santa came unexpectedly early! We are very pleased with the results: much higher definition/resolution -- pinpoint sharpness; truer, more saturated colors; and greater audio sensitivity -- so good it was able to pick up the sound of our distant; out-of-view waterfall feature! Xmas Techno Dance Medley -- This eighth Christmas Light Show video was photographed from diagonally across the street from a North-Westerly direction. This angular panoramic view shows the majority of our 60,000 LED lights (though not all at once) on our corner lot -- transforming it into a high-intensity, dazzling, Las Vegas-style holiday wonderland. The upbeat, techno electronic music made it relatively easy to sequence the "light dance" to the fast- rocking tune! Due to living in a small town in the "middle of nowhere," we probably receive more light-show viewers on YouTube, than we do visiting us in person! However, our non-high definition videos can't do our display justice -- you gotta be here in body and soul. Our nighttime light spectacle is really fantastic as compared to the vicarious pleasure received from viewing an audiovisual representation videographed by an "El Cheapo" camera. Perhaps Santa will bring us a HD version for Christmas! More videos to come -- "Stay Tuned!"
