Need an EXCELLENT movie to watch with the whole family while stuck at the house? This movie has it all. It is a Documentary on KENNY SAILORS born in BUSHNELL, NE and his life on and off the court. Kenny is attributed with inventing the "Jump Shot" while trying to shoot the ball over his much taller brother. He later went to high school in Laramie and attended college at the University of Wyoming. He helped lead the Cowboys to their one and only National Championship in Men's College Basketball in 1943 and also went on to take player of the year in college basketball. After the season he left to help serve in WWII and then came back to play a few more seasons. Later he played in the pros 5 seasons and then became a big advocate for women's athletics. Kenny, was a person that wanted to be known for a lot more than just basketball and his Faith was at the very top of the list. This movie is executive produced by Stephen Curry, for all of you basketball fans, and has a lot more current NBA players and coaches on it talking about Kenny and his contributions to the game. If you have the time, might want to check this out. It will cost $7.99 though to rent on the streaming service provided in the link.

The greenhouse is filling up!! Due to this virus running rampant, we will be putting some rules into place this year.... As the greenhouse is rather tight quarters, we will be restricting the number of customers at a time inside (please wear your masks 😉), or if things get too out of hand, we will set up a table across the front door, and a list of our inventory, and we will be glad to do the running and bring your selections up front to be boxed..... Time will tell what we have to do to keep everyone safe this year 😉...... That being said, we have a huge selection of peppers, tomatoes, some herbs, cabbage, okra, eggplant, squash, melons, chives, cukes, zuchs, and tons of different flowers this year for your garden 😁. We hope to see everyone this year, and we may all have to be patient and see what happens........ For our elderly who may have a hard time getting out and would like plants, we can deliver in the kimball area....... We dont have onion sets or potatoes this year, sorry 😉. Mike's Greenhouse is located on the southeast Corner of 2nd and Burg Streets.
