BREAKING NEWS: Power was restored around 1am with exception of a 3 homes closest to the incident. Crews will continue to work on needed repairs as the day continues. Late last night, Due to a structure fire that spread to the nearby power pole electricity is currently out on Nadine and Myrtle between 3rd Street and 9th Street. Crews are on scene making repairs, however, due the amount of damage that occurred it may take several hours to get power back on. They appreciate your patience and hope to have power back on as soon as it is safe to do so. Thank you

Thursday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 50. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming north after midnight.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 88. North wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southeast 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon.

Severe thunderstorms are possible Saturday and Sunday, mainly across the eastern plains, as a low pressure system slowly tracks through the area.
