This sixth Xmas video was panned & zoomed from the back of a slowly-moving pickup to give a "panoramic" vista of a portion of the years' Christmas Musical Light Show. This video, shot just after sunset, is primarily meant to be a documentary record of over 100 LED props, mostly homemade, that border our large corner lot. Our 2012 Xmas Musical Light Display consists of distinct 45-minute shows, each consisting of fourteen classic holiday/seasonal tunes with over 63,000 multi-colored LED lights that are choreographed/synchronized to flashdance "to the beat or rhythm of the individual songs or instrumentals. This large-scale animated Light Show is computerized and uses only highly energy-efficient Light-Emitting Diodes or LEDs -- not the "old-fashioned, incandescent bulbs!! To computer control our thousands of LEDs, we use Light-O-Rama (LOR) software & hardware -- including 9 LOR controllers with their 144 channels or circuits which enables us, via instructions from a HP computer, to cause the LEDs to turn ON or "OFF, to dim, flash, dance, or twinkle. Why do a Christmas Musical Light Show!? -- to help celebrate the "Reason for the Season;" to help promote and publicize the great little town of Kimball, NE; to produce lots of Good Cheer; and to have Fun, Fun, Fun -- for Everyone! "Carol of the Bells" by Monique Danielle This fifth Christmas Light-Show video was "shot" and panned directly across the street from a slightly southerly direction. This viewpoint from the south-west gives a panoramic depiction of the entire west/front side of our house & yard. To us, this view literally produces a kaleidoscopic wall of colorful LED animations and demonstrates that we have completed our holiday decorating plans for the front vista of the yard, house, & roof.

This fourth Christmas video for 2012 was videographed from the back of our slowly moving pickup to record and show an overall view of our current Xmas Musical Light Show. This video is primarily a detailed documentary record that will help us immensely to improve upon future light displays. We usually videograph just after sunset so that the sky is still lit up -- not pitch black -- and our videocam is able to stay "stopped down" and therefore records more detail, especially with the increased depth of field. We are not interested in viewing "night-time", animated, glaring, high-contrast lights! Thanks again for watching and "listening" to our glittery, twinkling LEDs!
