Semper Fidelis (Always Faithful) -- The Official March & Motto of the Marines 6000+ Red, White, and Blue LEDS Gone Patriotic, Wild & Crazy!! The newly-added rooftop Aerial Burst (660 LEDs) is nothing but a more elaborate Light Storm Disc (LSD) with a propulsion trail/tail. This simulated pyrotechnic device is controlled by 16 Light-O-Rama channels/inputs and took more than a day to fabricate and about four hours to program its LEDs to the march's beat. On an average, this animated "artillery shell" only uses approximately 33 watts of power. All the LEDs (6,112) that you can see in this video are using no more than 314 watts! However, if all these lights were the "old-fashioned" mini incandescent bulbs AND were ON STEADY, the power usage would be 8 times more or about 2,500 watts!! Hence, the PRIMARY reason why we have switched over to using mostly (98%) energy-efficient, Energy-Star-rated LEDs! Go Green!! There are a few more videos to come, showing 3,430 ADDITIONAL patriotic LEDs! Thanks for watching our YouTube videos. Easily reach us again by Googling: kimball ne led art
