K Friday Morning 2020 1h Weather Forecast
🌈 From the Kimball Weather Center, Here is a List of Weather Forecasts and Current Weather:
Patchy freezing drizzle and fog will develop early this morning along the Cheyenne Ridge, including the Interstate 80 corridor from the Nebraska border to Sidney. Occasional low visibility and slick roadways will impact the morning commute. Periods of light to moderate snow will develop this afternoon and continue tonight. Winds gusting between 25 and 35 mph will create patchy blowing snow. Total accumulations of two to six inches are expected. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 6 AM this morning through Noon Saturday. Snow will taper off from west to east later Saturday morning. Periods of rain and snow are forecast Tuesday through Thursday.

Today: Snow, possibly mixed with freezing drizzle, becoming all snow after noon. Patchy blowing snow after 5pm. Patchy freezing fog before noon. High near 34. Breezy, with a southeast wind 15 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Tonight: Snow, mainly before 11pm, then a chance of flurries after 5am. Patchy blowing snow before 11pm. Patchy fog after 7pm. Low around 22. Breezy, with a southeast wind 15 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Saturday: Patchy fog before 8am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 37. Breezy, with a south southeast wind 10 to 20 mph.
Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26. South southeast wind around 15 mph.
Sunday: Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 49. South wind 10 to 15 mph.
Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28.
Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 54.
Monday Night: A slight chance of rain before 11pm, then a chance of rain and snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28.
Next Tuesday: A chance of drizzle and snow before 10am, then a chance of drizzle. Cloudy, with a high near 50.
Next Tuesday Night: A slight chance of drizzle before 2am, then a slight chance of drizzle and snow. Cloudy, with a low around 32.
Next Wednesday: A chance of rain and snow. Partly sunny, with a high near 55.

Winter Weather Advisory for Kimball and Kimball County Nebraska:
URGENT WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE:
Accumulating snow will impact the Western Nebraska Panhandle Friday through Saturday morning.
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM THIS MORNING TO NOON SATURDAY.
* WHAT: Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches, with 6 inches possible along the Pine Ridge. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph will cause patchy blowing snow.
* WHERE: Western Nebraska Panhandle.
* WHEN: From 6 AM this morning through Noon Saturday.
* IMPACTS: Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening commutes.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS:
Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
WEATHER CANCELLATIONS:
Due to circumstances and weather, there will be no school today Friday, March 13th for Kimball Public Schools.
However, the district will continue to have, as scheduled, the special school board meeting at 7:30 AM, today, Friday, March 13th, and the public is encouraged to attend.
There will be no FFA meal nor member Auction this evening. That has also been postponed.
