The City of Kimball recognizes that our community is in the beginning of scary and tough times ahead for the unforeseeable future.
To help lessen the burden of those who have or may soon become affected by the Covid-19 crisis, the City has made a decision to incorporate a Covid-19 Disaster Relief Allowance 5% decrease across the board on all Utility bills for all customers beginning with the April 25th statement. We realize that this is an ever changing situation and we will be revisiting this decision again in April to determine if it needs to be adjusted as we move into another month. We will continue to monitor this decision monthly as this crisis unfolds in the Panhandle.
We are all in this together, please stay home, stay safe. Let's all work to Keep Nebraska Flat and to stay Kimball Strong.

We are all facing the unknown😔🙏.  With that being said we are making a couple changes at Prestige for the time being. We are still open to take care of your repair and steel needs. But..... The office however, is closed to through traffic. Although we never have more than 1 or 2 customers at any given time we still need to take the precaution for the safety of our employees and clients.  If you are coming in to make a payment that is fine. If you are needing to talk to one of the guys for repairs or service please use the south door or come through the overhead door if it is open. Please remember to practice distancing. We want to stay open and available to those farmers and ranchers and other essential businesses that are still in need of our service. Please know that we are all praying for everyone out there.

The Diner is now shutdown until further notice as of this afternoon.

Due to the current situation of with the COVID-19, effective at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 30th, 2020, and continuing until further notice, the Kimball County Courthouse and all other County operated buildings are closed to the general public.

Access will be permitted to those required to appear in Court and those who are Court authorized.

The Limited functions of County Government which cannot be accomplished via mail, online or by phone, such as marriage licenses, may be conducted by advance appointment only. No walk-in services will be provided. Citizens are required to call the appropriate offices to schedule an advanced appointment.
