Today: Rain likely before noon. Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 59. Windy, with a north northwest wind 35 to 45 mph, with gusts as high as 65 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 38. Windy, with a north northwest wind 20 to 30 mph decreasing to 10 to 20 mph in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 73. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 43. Northwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming south in the evening.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 81. West northwest wind around 5 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 48.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 86. Breezy.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 53. Breezy.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 88.

Saturday Night: Isolated showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 53.

Next Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 86.

Next Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 51.

And Next Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 85.

A High Wind Warning is in effect until 3 PM today. Winds will be north at 35 to 45 mph with gusts to 65 mph.

URGENT WEATHER MESSAGE:

HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON.

* WHAT: North winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph expected.

* WHERE: Banner County, Morrill County, Kimball County and Cheyenne County.

* WHEN: Until 3 PM today.

* IMPACTS: High winds may move loose debris, damage property and cause power outages. Dangerous crosswinds on Interstate 80 from Lodgepole to Kimball. Significant blowoff or blow over risk. Travel will be difficult especially for lightweight, high profile vehicles and campers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS:

People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around or damaged by the wind.
