🌈 From the KIMBA Weather Center, this is your Weather outlook for the next week:

Today: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3pm. Some of the storms could be severe. Sunny, with a high near 87. North northwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming east southeast in the afternoon.

Tonight: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Some of the storms could be severe. Partly cloudy, with a low around 57. East southeast wind 10 to 15 mph becoming south after midnight.

Friday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 98. South wind around 15 mph becoming west northwest in the afternoon.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 55. West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph becoming north after midnight.

Saturday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 91. North northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming east southeast in the afternoon.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 57.

Sunday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 96.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 60.

Monday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 96.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 57.

Next Tuesday: Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 94.

Next Tuesday Night: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a low around 54.

And Next Wednesday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Sunny, with a high near 88.

Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon across far eastern Wyoming and western Nebraska. Some of these thunderstorms may become severe with strong, gusty winds and large hail possible. Periods of critical fire weather conditions are expected over the next few days, especially Friday. Be sure to not be the fire source, as fires are likely to grow quickly under forecasted conditions.

URGENT FIRE WEATHER MESSAGE:

CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS FRIDAY FOR PARTS OF SOUTHEAST WYOMING AND THE WESTERN NEBRASKA PANHANDLE.

FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING FOR GUSTY WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES 301, 302, 305, 307, 309, 310, 311, 312, AND 313.

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Fire Weather Watch, which is in effect from Friday morning through Friday evening.

* AFFECTED AREA: Fire weather zones 311, 312, and 313 in Nebraska. Fire weather zones 301, 302, 305, 307, 309, and 310 in southeast Wyoming.

* WIND: Westerly 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* HUMIDITY: 5 to 13 percent.

* HAINES: 5 to 6.

* IMPACTS: any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS:

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions may develop. Listen for later forecasts and possible Red Flag Warnings.
