🌈 From the KIMBA Weather Center, this is your Weather outlook for the next week:
Tonight: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 7pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 7pm and 1am, then a chance of rain after 1am. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 56. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph decreasing to 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Thursday: A chance of rain, then rain likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 76. North northwest wind around 10 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Thursday Night: Rain and thunderstorms likely before 10pm, then a slight chance of rain between 10pm and 1am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 53. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Friday: A slight chance of rain between 1pm and 4pm, then a slight chance of rain and thunderstorms after 4pm. Sunny, with a high near 83. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north northeast in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Friday Night: A 20 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms before 7pm. Mostly clear, with a low around 54.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 84.
Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 54.
Sunday: A slight chance of rain and thunderstorms after 1pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 81.
Sunday Night: A slight chance of rain and thunderstorms before 1am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 52.
Monday: Sunny, with a high near 81.
Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 54.
Next Tuesday: A slight chance of rain and thunderstorms. Sunny, with a high near 87.
Next Tuesday Night: A slight chance of rain and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a low around 55.
And Next Wednesday: A chance of rain and thunderstorms. Sunny, with a high near 85.
Widespread showers and numerous thunderstorms are expected through this evening across far eastern Wyoming and most of the western Nebraska panhandle. There is a slight risk for flash flooding since thunderstorms will contain very heavy rainfall and training storms could occur through the evening hours. In addition to the heavy rainfall, there is a risk for strong to marginally severe thunderstorms this afternoon. A few thunderstorms may produce strong, gusty winds. Scattered thunderstorms will continue on Thursday, but severe weather is not expected. Diminished coverage and a drying/warming pattern will take hold by Friday.
