Tonight: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Some of the storms could be severe. Partly cloudy, with a low around 54. East northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west southwest after midnight.

Wednesday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Some of the storms could be severe. Increasing clouds, with a high near 88. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming east in the morning.

Wednesday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Some of the storms could be severe. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 55. South wind around 5 mph.

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Sunny, with a high near 89. South southeast wind 5 to 15 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 57.

Friday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 95.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 57.

Saturday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 90.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 56.

Next Sunday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 93.

Next Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 56.

Next Monday: Sunny, with a high near 89.

Next Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 56.

And Next Tuesday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 91.

Widely scattered thunderstorms will develop over the Laramie Range around noon and move eastward into the High Plains by mid-afternoon, reaching the western Nebraska Panhandle by late afternoon. Severe storms capable of producing large hail and strong gusty winds are possible. Scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms will develop through Thursday, becoming more isolated and confined to the mountains Friday and Saturday. Strong to severe thunderstorms producing large hail and strong gusty winds will be possible along and east of the Interstate 25 corridor Wednesday; an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
