They are excited to come back this year after they had to postpone this annual event last year due to The Cove in nineteen pandemic Plains Historical Society will hold a monthly board meeting at 6:30 p.m. This Thursday evening, May 5th 2026 In The West Wing of the nineteen twenty High School building at 816 East 3rd Street Kimball, Nebraska 69145. This meeting is open to the public. I will be following social distancing rules and masks are required. Please call Terry at 308-235-5166 to check for cancellations last Friday the 8th. Of Kimble Public Schools planted trees with mayor and city employees to honor Arbor Day. They learned about the history of the holiday and the multitude of benefits of trees down. They've done stayed and enjoy the beautiful weather the good hand theater will have popcorn to go drive up this Friday evening May 7th from 5 to 7 p.m. They have done this often during the pandemic as well. They are working on having more popcorn to go drive up events in the future as well. Kimball Public Schools will have cruise night this Friday evening May 7th from 6 to 8 p.m. To honor the class of 2021. It will be held on Highway 30 between Washington Street and Chesnut Street. This will be their second year in a row of a graduation cruise night. They had quarantined cruise night last year to honor the class of 2020 due to The Cove in nineteen pandemic and Derek Kaufman a freshman at Kimball wage. Seriously injured in an accident at school on Thursday April 22nd Derek was flown to the Burn Center in Greeley, Colorado, and then transferred to Children's Hospital in Denver Tech will have to undergo several skin graft surgeries and account has been set up at first-tier Bank in Kimball.
