George Doyle Copeland was born January 19, 1956 to Margaret (Baldwin) and Doyle Copeland in Kimball, NE, where uncles Rod Baldwin and Wayne (Janice) Baldwin still reside. He attended school in Kimball until moving to Greeley, CO in 1968 where he graduated Greeley Central High School in 1974. George died November 27, 2022 at home with his wife, Judy, by his side.
