City Council Agenda Regular Meeting on Tuesday Evening, July 21st, 2026

The Kimball City Council meeting covered a range of city business, including the approval of the consent agenda and the adoption of Resolution 2026-04 for a 3-year commitment to LARM with a 5% discount. The council approved the appointment of Dan Williams to the Airport Authority Board and granted $250 in Keno funds for the "Fill a Bag, Fill a Heart" school supply project. An early draft of the city budget was reviewed, with a significant discussion on a state-mandated $85,784.87 sales tax refund to Clean Harbors that will impact city finances. The council discussed the potential establishment of an economic development organization but decided to wait for the outcome of LB840. Updates were provided on various projects, including the upcoming water tank chlorination, the start of the water tank project, and the successful operation of the power plant.
