Highpointing: Panorama Point, the highest point in Nebraska – Rooftops of America

We visit (the very windy) Panorama Point, the rooftop of Nebraska. Located on the High Point Bison Ranch in Kimball County, the highest point in Nebraska has an elevation over a mile high at 5,429 feet. The high point lies near one of the great transcontinental transportation corridors of the US, the Great Platte River Road, which has had travelers from the Oregon Trail, the Transcontinental Railroad, the Lincoln Highway, and now Interstate 80.
