Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 68. Breezy, with a west wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 37. West wind 10 to 15 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 58. Breezy, with a west northwest wind 15 to 20 mph becoming north northeast in the afternoon.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 26.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 54.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 28.

Friday: A slight chance of rain after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 61.

Red Flag Warning for Kimball and Kimball County Nebraska:

URGENT FIRE WEATHER MESSAGE:

Red Flag Warning issued for elevated fire weather conditions across the western Nebraska Panhandle Monday and Tuesday Afternoons.

RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 7 PM TUESDAY FOR ELEVATED WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY OVER THE NEBRASKA PANHANDLE.

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from noon today to 7 PM Tuesday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

* AFFECTED AREA: Fire weather zones 311, 312, and 313 in the Nebraska Panhandle.

* WIND: Southwest 15 to 20 MPH with possible gusts up to 30 MPH.

* HUMIDITY: As low as 15 percent.

* HAINES: 3 to 6.

* IMPACTS: any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS:

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
