Warm and breezy conditions will elevate the fire danger across lower elevations this afternoon. A disturbance will produce scattered high based showers and a few thunderstorms over western and northern parts of the region this afternoon and evening. Gusty outflow winds to 45 mph and small hail will be possible. A cold front moves into southeast Wyoming and western Nebraska Friday, and stalls along the Laramie Range Friday night and Saturday. There will be enough instability and wind shear to trigger a few strong to severe thunderstorms between 3 PM and 9 PM Friday along and east of the Laramie Range. The main threat will be wind gusts to 60 mph, with hail up to quarter size possible.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 49. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph becoming west northwest in the evening.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 80. West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph becoming east northeast in the afternoon.

Friday Night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 44. East wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Saturday: Showers likely, with thunderstorms also possible after 3pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 63. East wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Saturday Night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before midnight, then a slight chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 43. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Sunday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 75.

Sunday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42.

Monday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 71.
