A cold front will move into the area this afternoon and stall along the Laramie Range tonight. Thunderstorms will develop along and west of the Laramie Range by midday and move east into the high plains this afternoon and early evening. A few strong to severe storms will be capable of producing localized downburst wind gusts to 60 mph or higher. Instances of hail approaching an inch will be possible. Chances of mainly afternoon and evening thunderstorms will continue Saturday through Monday. Severe weather is not expected. Gusty winds and small hail will be possible Saturday afternoon.

Tonight: Showers likely before midnight, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between midnight and 3am, then showers likely after 3am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 44. North northeast wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Saturday: Showers likely. Cloudy, with a high near 59. East northeast wind 5 to 15 mph becoming south southeast in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Saturday Night: Showers likely, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 39. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west southwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Sunday: A chance of showers between noon and 3pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 71. West wind 5 to 15 mph becoming east in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Sunday Night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before midnight, then a chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 41. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Monday: Isolated showers and thunderstorms after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 67. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 35.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 66.
