Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 56. South southeast wind 5 to 15 mph.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 93. Southeast wind 5 to 15 mph.

Friday Night: A 20 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 58.

Independence Day: A 30 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 92.

Saturday Night: A chance of rain and thunderstorms before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57.

Warm and dry conditions, coupled with wind gusts around 25 MPH will create elevated fire weather conditions this afternoon across the high plains of southeast Wyoming and the western Nebraska Panhandle. Isolated thunderstorms are possible across much of the region each afternoon through Tuesday. Gusty winds will be possible with any thunderstorms. An extended period of warm and dry weather will lead to elevated fire weather conditions over the holiday weekend. Fires may start easily.
