Friday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 94. West northwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming north northeast in the afternoon.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible across the Nebraska Panhandle this afternoon. One or two storms could become severe with large hail and damaging downburst winds from 4PM through 8PM this Evening. Widespread critical fire weather conditions expected Thursday mainly across the northern and central portions of the Panhandle. A Fire Weather Watch is in effect for this area of the Panhandle.
