A Sept. 24 trial date has been set for Kenneth Childs of Dix. Childs is charged with making terroristic threats, which is a Class 3A felony, and false reporting, which is a misdemeanor. Childs is represented by Audrey M. Elliott, and he is being prosecuted by Special Acting County Attorney Paul Schaub of Sidney.
