The city of Kimball urges all residents to be prepared for the incoming weather as needed Kimball will continue to prepare to run the same power plant to supply as much electricity as feasible to City residents and businesses, but prepare in advance for electric disruptions the city or just all residents and businesses to conserve as much energy as possible during these dates to protect sensitive equipment and computers and to unplug any unnecessary devices and equipment. For elderly residents and residents reliant on oxygen who may not feel safe at home alone. The Kimble County Transit will have day shelter for these dates Transit Center will be running on Thursday and we'll have full capability to plug in medical devices and access to ADA Compliant bathrooms. Please contact Transit at 262 to set up a free ride home. And from home on these dates contact city offices at 235 36 39 with any additional questions or concerns due to uncertainty with the power supply Cable public schools will have no school on Friday, March 12th and Monday March 15th, in order to conserve the City's power supply for the chemo residence. The Kimball Public Library will be closed on Friday March 12th, 2021 on Monday, March 15th, 2021. They will be open their regular hours on Saturday, March 13th, 2021 the Campbell County visit. Percent or will be closed Friday, March 12th and Monday March 15th due to a Citywide scheduled power outage due to expected high snowfall amounts on Saturday, March 13th through Sunday, March 14th, 2021. The City of Campbell is declaring a snow emergency. We are asking citizens to not leave parked Vehicles overnight on Saturday evening, March 13th and Sunday evening, March 14th. So the street department can clean those streets on our emergency snow routes. The designated emergency snow routes are number one Chestnut Street from 1st Street to 4th Street and number two 2nd Street from Howard Street to Oak Street signs are posted on those routes.
