Families in Kimball and surrounding communities now have access to a program where they can receive free books for their kids up to the age of five.

The Drive-Thru Chair OPEN Pick Up CHAIRS FOR CHAIRITY is coming soon. Due to the COVID, we will be having a drive thru chair pick up! Come to the Kimball Public Library at 208 South Walnut Street on Friday, April 24th From 1:00pm to 6:00pm. (Chairs will be outside on the lawn) Please have 10 dollars for each chair you pick up. Please keep in mind your social distancing of 6 chairs between! We will have another chair decorating day at the library TBA. CHAIRS FOR CHAIRITY is coming soon. Come and decorate a Chair for the Kimball Public Library Board of Trustees! All proceeds will go towards the permanent Makerspace at the library. 1st Decorating Event: Friday, April 24th at 1:00pm and Saturday, April 25th at 11:00am. The 2nd Decorating Event will be at the end of June date TBA. Paint provided, bring your own ideas and supplies. The Cost of un-decorated Chair is $15. You can Sponsor a Chair for $35 for someone else to decorate. Chairs will need to be finished and returned to the Library no later than Saturday, June 27th You can call Erica Loy at (308) 230-0381. Auction of the chairs will be Farmer's Day Weekend. This is at the library. 208 South Walnut Street.

CHAIRS FOR CHAIRITY SILENT ÀUCTION. Come and see the chairs that are on display at the Library! Or on facebook. Bidding will take place at the Kimball Public Library at 208 South Walnut Street. Pre-bidding will begin on Thursday, July 16th. Final bidding war will be on Thursday, July 30th From 3:00pm to 7:00pm. Door Prizes are from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. Also this evening, there will be refreshments, Friends of the Library Store Vendors, Paperback book sale, and an Open House for the New Library Makerspace! Here are the Prizes to be awarded: Peoples Choice, High Dollar Chair, Judges Choice and Highest Bidder. For more information, Call 235-4523.
