Today: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3pm. Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 90. West wind 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9pm, then a slight chance of showers between 9pm and 11pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 51. West wind 5 to 15 mph becoming north after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 87. North wind 5 to 15 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 59. Southeast wind 10 to 15 mph.

Saturday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 88. Breezy, with a south southeast wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

Saturday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9pm, then a chance of showers between 9pm and midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 53. Breezy. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 89. Breezy.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 51.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 77.

Monday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 42.

Next Tuesday: A slight chance of showers. Sunny, with a high near 69. Breezy.

Next Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 43. Breezy.

And Next Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 75. Breezy.

Isolated high based thunderstorms are possible across the Nebraska Panhandle for a few hours this afternoon. These storms will be high based with the main hazard being strong downburst winds to 60 mph. Severe thunderstorms are possible Saturday afternoon and evening as a low pressure system tracks into western Wyoming. Large hail, damaging downburst winds and heavy rainfall leading to areas of flash flooding are all possible. A Slight Risk area has been identified for the Nebraska Panhandle Saturday afternoon through the evening hours.
