Tonight: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9pm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds. Mostly clear, with a low around 51. West southwest wind around 10 mph.

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 89. West wind 10 to 15 mph.

Thursday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 50. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming north after midnight.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 88. North wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southeast 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon.

Friday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Increasing clouds, with a low around 60. Breezy.

Saturday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 88. Breezy.

Saturday Night: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 53. Breezy.

Sunday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 90. Breezy.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will push east across western Nebraska this afternoon and into this evening. The threat for severe thunderstorms is low, but a few storms may contain hail up to the size of quarters and gusty winds over 65 mph. Severe thunderstorms are possible Saturday and Sunday, mainly across the eastern plains, as a low pressure system slowly tracks through the area.
