This Afternoon: A chance of showers before 3pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 3pm and 4pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. Some of the storms could be severe. Mostly sunny, with a high near 86. West northwest wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Tonight: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8pm. Some of the storms could be severe. Mostly clear, with a low around 52. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest in the evening.
Thursday: A slight chance of showers between noon and 3pm, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 89. West wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Thursday Night: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9pm, then a slight chance of showers between 9pm and midnight. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 50. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 88. West northwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming east southeast in the afternoon.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop early this afternoon over the Laramie Range and move east through the afternoon as a dry line surges eastward. The dryline moves into central nebraska after 6 PM this evening. Severe storms are likely as this dry line surges east. Hail to the size of tennis balls are possible along with downburst winds to 65 mph. Severe thunderstorms are possible Saturday and Sunday as a low pressure system slowly tracks through the area.
