BREAKING NEWS - School Closed for 2 weeks plus businesses due to the Corona Virus COVID-19 Concerns


BREAKING NEWS

This is a special breaking news report right here on KIMBA Network Blogspot:

Due to the spread of the Corona Virus COVID-19, we have many business closures to announce:

The Kimball County Transit has service errand delivery available. If you need groceries, pharmacy items or other local items give them a call to schedule it to be delivered to you at (308) 235-0262.

Kimball Public Schools are shutdown Monday, March 16th through Friday, March 27th due to the Corona virus outbreak. All school activities are canceled. Also, the Childrens Club at New Hope Assembly of God is canceled for Friday, March 20th and Sunday, March 22nd. They plan to reopen on Friday, April 3rd. Kimball Public Schools plan to reopen on Monday, March 30th. There will be no school nor any school activities the next two weeks. This means that the after school elite program has also been postponed for this week and next week.

The Kimball Bakery, at 124 South Chestnut Street in downtown Kimball, will be shutdown until further notice.

The Kimball County Manor at 810 East 7th Street is not accepting any visitors at this time. They are on complete lockdown and have been since Friday, March 13th. They encourage you to call, Skype or Facetime in order to remain in contact with your loved one. If you have any questions on this matter, you can call the Kimball County Manor at (308) 235-4693.

Due to the fact that Kimball Public Schools along with Potter Dix have closed for 2 weeks, In the event that there are children that rely on the meals provided from these school systems please give Nebraska Coffee a call and they will provide a sack lunch for them. The school mentioned that they will also be helping these students but Nebraska Coffee would like to as well! Their number is (308) 241-0050. If anyone is interested in helping please message them. Any businesses that want to contribute you are more then welcome to reach out to them.  We, our community, can rally together and make sure our kids are fed. Due to the spread of the coronavirus Kimball New Hope has decided to cancel the Kids Game Night event on March 27th. The safety of the public is of great concern to us, and we are believing for this virus to be eradicated quickly. They will set a future date for this event when this virus has been contained and dealt with. Thank you for your understanding.
